Yamaguchi (Port Washington): Simply the best traditional sushi restaurant on Long Island. Great food, great service, and very reasonable prices. Reservations are a good idea. Call them at 516-883-3500 and tell them that Capt Andy LoCascio sent you!
LaMottas Waterside Restaurant (Port Washington): The best food, drink, entertainment (in season), and location in Manhasset Bay. None of the other waterside restuarants even comes close. Located in Manhasset Bay Marina (free docking for diners and fuel is available). Open March through October.
Bryant & Cooper (Roslyn/Manhasset): Our first choice for a steak house. Arguably one of the best on Long Island and possibly in all of NY state! Reservations are a must on weekends!
Burton & Doyle (Great Neck): Another great steak and seafood restaurant. Beautiful bar and a cool scene. Reservations are a must on weekends!
