Bob Bedell and Nick Stillman caught over 20 stripers on the morning trip. Most of the fish were caught on light tackle and though they took some time to bring to the boat, the guys had a blast. Capt Mike feels that the bite is getting better every day and there is incredibly amount of striped bass and bait in the Western LI Sound. |

Despite a very late 9am start, Brendan Levy and his group still managed more than a dozen big stripers. The bite was not as furious as it could have been because of the bright skies and the north wind. The fish have been much more cooperative on the falling and low barometer. The early morning bite is very good and the evening bite is even better. |
